RC-2 vs RC-1

After running out of the RC-1 i had ordered from Auralex, i went searching for a local dealer. The guys who knew what i was talking about told me no one uses RC-1 anymore, everyone uses RC-2. So we went with RC-2 the rest of the way. Waaaaay easier to deal with.

any performance difference? if not, i would highly recommend using RC-2 instead, it's so much easier to screw to. and feels more reliable to hold a load of sheetrock.

Hello jonothon, whats the difference, gauge, flange width?

same thing, only you screw it on both sides of the flange. Seems much more stable, and easier to get screws into. here's a pic.

Do you know who manufactures it? I'm looking for acoustic specs and I haven't found any yet.
