Rate my singing please? New here! :)

I did it all in one take but I'm sure if I sat down and took my time I could get it pretty close. What do you think? It's headstrong by trapt. I used a CAD 57 USB microphone and Audacity. It seems to come across better if you use headphones. I know there's some spots that were off pitch and were pitchy.

First thing I noticed was the timing. Work on that.

Second was the pitch issues that you already acknowledge.

Last would be the quality of the recording. How important is this to you and how much do you have to budget for it?

You will get only honest answers here. Don't get pissed. :)

Not pissed at all haha. Sometimes the setup I use it sounds like there's no pitch problems with the headphones and then I take them off and listen through normal speakers and there is. It's weird for sure. I re did it to try and get it a little better. I just use a usb mic and audacity it's all for fun
