With digital CD recording easily within the reach of anyone who owns a PC these days I almost dont see the point of spending a lot of money on any kind of fancy cassette deck as they are rapidly becoming obsolete. Personally I dont like the idea having these two components in the same unit together anyway in case one fails you'll be stuck with a clunky 3 space one trick pony.
If this is about saving rack space or money, for the same amount (or even less) you could probably buy a seperate consumer grade single or dual cassette deck then add one of those slim single spaced sized consumer type DVD players and just get some rack ears or a rack shelf to mount both.
If you choose an all in one home theatre type DVD player you might also be able get multi disc changing, the ability to play MP3's, WMA files, AM/FM radio bands and may even have surround sound powered speaker outs to boot! The cheaper one wont be very high powered and may even come with some junky speakers, but if your running it into a PA or better sound system that really wont matter anyway.
