hey i've been visiting this board for a while now for tips but now the time's come for me to post.
i'm starting my own set-up; we'll be recording with an mbox 2. my question is, is the r0de ntk a good mic to start with? i've been eyeballing a couple of differnet ones, the ksm32 looks good too but i'm not sure. i've heard the mxl990 and i want something a little better.
the music style is rap btw. anyone have some advice?
