I noticed this in the audiofanzine news at the bottom of the page there:
http://misc-microphone.shure.en.aud...duit,141530,shure_releases_2_new_sm_mics.html
discusses the new SM27 and SM137 as replacements for the KSM27 and KSM109, respectively. I looked on Shure's site, and the older mics are still there.
The article also mentions a XLR->USB adapter with headphone-jack that's being sold with SM57s and SM58s - that's a trip - Shure's site says 16bit/48khz and "coming soon".
Anyway, maybe my KSM27 will be a collector's item soon?
