my prospective studio is loaded with flourescent lights. from what i've read those are pretty noisy when it comes to pickups/mics etc. i've heard regular old incandescent lights are good enough but i'm looking for the best.. any ideas? furthermore, (and i doubt this..) but would a dimmer switch produce unwanted noise as well? thinking of their design doesn't seem like it would produce anything noticeable, but i'd rather not learn the hard way. thanks!
