Quick Question

hi, i'm extremely new to this whole home recording process. My friend who convinced me to get cubase SX was suposed to teach me how to use it. He showed me once how to repeat a certain segment of my song so it loops while i'm trying out different effects and levels. Does anyone know what i'm talking about or can help me figure out how to loop a certain segment so that i dont have to keep rewinding to hear it again?

First you have to set the left and right markers for the section you want to loop (the blue line at the top of the arrange window).

Then just click the loop button in the transport bar (a circle with a little line through one edge of it).

Should be in the manual.
