Quick Question

Say i had a stock soundcard and a mixer with 4 mono channels.
If i hooked up a mic to every mono channel on the mixer and recorded it onto one track on Cool Edit Pro 2.0 would all of the mono channels come up on Cool Edit as one track or would like only half of them comne up

They would all be on one stereo track or two mono tracks depending on how you've set up to record and your panning at the mixer.

but i could get all 4 mono tracks on 1 stereo track on CEP right?

Yes ... provided that your mixer offers a stereo output and you use the proper cabling.
What mixer and soundcard do you have?

I have a standard stock soundcard (line in,line out,mic in) and i have a Behringer UB1204-PRO EURORACK mixer
