quick question

how do you add believable sounding strings (violin) to a digitally recorded song?

is it soundfonts? or midi?
ive tried them both and they both seem to sound extremely fake

and help is appreciated

the worst thing to say is the simplest idea.....i havent heard one sound font or midi that doesnt sound a little fake. see if you can find some friends who play classical instruments
