Quick question about MOTU and its FW requirements

I have read somewhere that Motu suggests the use of T.I chipset firewire cards for their products. However, two other chipsets were also suggested by Motu and i can't recall which ones. could anyone please help me out? my firewire card with the T.I chipset just got screwed and i can't use my Motu 828mkII now...

It's for all..PCI and PCMCIA.

Does anyone know if the Adaptec 4300 firewire card contain the T.I chipset?

You can also write to MOTU tech support directly. They may have some updates and are pretty good at responding to tech questions.
