Questions about KorgD1200mkII

Does any1 know if this comes with a load of sounds in it already, or will I have to obtain them myself? ie, will it have instrument sounds like guitars, horns, drum machine...does it have a synth machine etc. etc? I know it sounds stupid, but I'm a beginner and I really have no idea. How exactly do you go about making beats...do you simply just manipulate the soundwaves or what?! lol
Also, will I be able to control pitch, tempo etc on one of these.
And will I need to buy a mic seperately?

I'm a bit confused cos the thread is called D1200 MkII but the link you posted is for the micro korg synth?

If it is the synth, you can easily find out what patches it offers by going to the KORG site and punching up the model. Perhaps even a synth vendor over there will have the info on its site.

If you have trouble, post again and I'll try and look up the model you're interested in and find out what sounds/patches it contains.
