Questions about Akai MPD 16

I want to get the drum hits I have loaded into my ASR 10 assigned to different pads on the Akai MPD 16...ex. Instr. 1 = pad 1 How do I go about doing this? Then I want to play back the pads with the drum hits on them back into the ASR 10's sequencer, how do I go about doing this? Thank you.
 
One of the members of this forum has a MPD-16 (his name is Flo' Dolo).

tell me what your gear setup is and i'll get at you with specific instructions. You use a computer to sequence or the ASR, etc...
