Hey all...
I want to make a pc-recording of my band.
I have a Behringer MX2004A, works great to me.
I use n-track, which responds to all my needs...
Now, my question is:
I'm recording everything 1by1 (drums first, then bass, lead guitar, 2nd guitar, vocals)
Now what I want to know is, when i record my drums (no problem with it) and then I push the Rewind button (<<)
I want to hear my drums on my headphone when I'm recording my guitar. Is this possible? Muting the track doesn't work, I tried everything, and that's the reason why I get this analog sound. It would be nice to get some help :)
Thanx in advance! :D

...What's your soundcard ? How do you set your routing ? It's abit difficult to help without these info.

errrr...
I have a SB Audigy, so that won't be a problem I think.
And ehh...Routing???? ;)
I'm not that good in all these terms...
Thanx :D

I'll post this on the N-track forum too :) Maybe they can (also) help me out there. :D

...Off course, Just record the guitar on the next track. Don't mute the drums track. Plug your headphones and hoop lah... I'm sorry, but I can't get your question propherly. Could you explain a bit clearer pls ?

Analog sound ? :D We all want those warmth of analog sound in our cold digital domain... You should be lucky if you get some... :D
Routing is how do you "line up" your instrument to your PC, and how you route the output to monitor.
Example: Guitar --> Mixer --> Line input PC.
Line out PC --> Mixer --> Headphones.
