i have the Audiophile soundcard (the one for 100 bucks) with A Behringer Eurorack 1604A Mixing board hooked up to a standard PC with Adobe Audition 1.5 (CEP) what would i need to buy in order to mix in "real time" I have a hard time describing this because i'm new to this but i want to be able to mix the recorded track thats in Adobe Audition with my mixing board without having to mix the signal before it gets recorded digitally. Bascially i want to assign my digitally recorded tracks to my mixing board and be able to mix them directly from the mixing board. If anyone could help me it would be greatly appreciated. Thank You

You need a multichannel soundcard to transfer the audio from each track within Audition to each channel of the mixer.

you will never be able to mix them with that mixing board. as mentioned, you will need a multichannel soundcard to record the tracks, then you can mix them in the computer. If you want to be able to move faders, you will need a control surface...

Even with a control surface, your mixing will be limited to setting a global volume level for each track, panning it left, right or center. To do fades, or to mute one track while another is playing, or reduce or raise levels in the course of track playback, you must use the Volume/Pan Envelopes and the mouse.

I hope that Adobe will implement "writing" envelopes from the control surface, so that mixing can be done from the board.
