I'm being asked a question by someone over the internet, and do not know the specific answer.
I am not sure what kind of Apple or MAC he has, but he does have Garage Band on his computer, and also USB port.
He wants to use it to play a MIDI file, and drive his MicroKorg.
Can a USB/MIDI cable be used to connect his computer directly to his synth, or does the Apple/MAC computer need to have a sound card that directly supports MIDI on it which it might not have?
Did that make sense?
Can he use his computer as is, or does he have to buy an external soundcard with MIDI support before he can drive his synth using Garage Band?
