Hi Fingers....You can get them for about 99 cmackers new so I spose so if it's in good condition, but I'd say go new because unless you buy through the sound room www.oktava.com the quality control isn't as good so you should realy listen to a bunch of them at a stor and pick out the best one to your ear....As far as overheads (I also use mine on acoustic, percussion and some vocals as well as sterio micing live gigs from the audiance) I think they're great for overheads, but they are alittle darker than say the MXL whateverthenumberis's.....But I like then!
I was successful at picking up a pair at GC for $110 last week, and another guy on these boards picked them up for $120. Both great prices, but it takes a little effort to haggle with the salesmen.
Oh, okay. I figured they would have that deal on their web site too, but apparently, they don't THe closes GC to me is 80 miles away on the other side of Raleigh.
It is when you don't have a car I've been riding my bike everywhere (work, church, rehearsal) for the last 4 months now because I can't afford both a car and my hobbies.
Originally posted by Bob Keelan I've heard of a couple instances where people have been able to call a GC and have the stuff mailed. Might be worth the call.
