I was wondering does vocals sound better after you compress them?? And if so what setting should I use to compress the vocals

Stay away from CEPs compressor for vocals. Just about any comp plugin would be much better.

What is a comp plug in for it??? I hope that doesn't sound to stupid or is that short for computer or compressor which one?? And also where will I find one thanks for your help and reply

mm, I use it now and then on my vocals and the results aren't that bad you know...It just needs a lot of fiddling and trying...

Been there, done that.

If youre new to compression --as he sounds like he is, CEPs compressor is going to make life very difficult for you. A much simpler solution would be waves, ultrafunk, sonic timeworks, or PSP's mixpressor.

You have a point: the lack of a good plugin kionda forst me using the CEP compressor...
