We were talking about those Optimus Pro LX-7s way back when, and i still have yet to find a pair, sadly enough. I did come across the LX5II's however (cat # 40-4061), and I remember having these on my RCA wall, and i really liked them... They sounded damn nice, and probably my faves out of our whole display... But what how do you think they'd work for monitors? I don't know what that linaeum tweeter system would do to a monitor setup. How would these compare to the LX-7s?
For what little mastering work i've done on my comp, i've been using this pair of Pro X7s (cat # 40-2076) along with one of those realistic computer speaker sub/amp to drive 'em. I get what I think is a good sound out of them, and it seems somewhat flat to me, but i may just be imagining things.
