Question~Best Soundcard For Under $100

Hmm whats the best ? Or whats a good one

My computer's facotry info has 3000 + AMD ATHALON PROCESSOR (2.16 GHZ), 512 MB RAM, 160 GB HD

AS OF NOW..

114 gb hd and 448 mb left of ram....

For anyone to be able to suggest anything, we need to know what it is that you are wanting to do.
 
You can get an E-MU 0404 for about that Price, That is if you are wanting to use the Card for Recording.....

I tried the Card Once and Found it to Be a Bit Difficult to set up But Maybe you have More Patience than I do......

LOL, i left the that just incase i needed a certain amount of mem for a good card lol...

So ne ways i need a card for Recording...
 
That makes sense, since this is a home recording BBS. What kinda of music? instruments you want to record? What kind of gear do you already have? Don't make me beat it out of you ffs! ;)

Lol I NEED IT FOR RECORDING VOCALS..

I have a MXL V67 TUBE MP PRE AMP... AND THIS IS ALL =/

i HAVE A ON BOARD CARD (REALTEK AC67)

May just be the soundcard. Not sure, never had it happen.
 
i ono i think its the computer, because the screen saver seems to be lagin now..
 
That could be, load up a video game and see how well it streams, video and audio. You may just need to pickup some more RAM or something silly, defrag the harddrive, jump up and spin two times and dance a jig, computers are silly like that. :D
