Question about vocal effects...

Are there any onboard effects for vocals that would give a little distortion. I found the reverb/echo/delay section but I need little more FX. I did try the Distortion function but it didn't sound good at all on my vocals. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

If you are using Audition 1.5 or a version which you can use a vst > dx wrapper with, there seem to be loads of distorting vst effects for free download 'out there'. As personally that's the last thing I'd want to do, I haven't tried any.
