I have a few friends who wants me to get into recording them live or at practice. For both making cd's and for scratch tracks to study later.
What USB Sound card is good enough to do live recordings and suitable for home as well (2 in's is good enough at this time). I did a search and came with the conclution USB cards are nothing bu headaches? And the only plug about the Steinberg's Nuendo leads to a site that is currently having technical problems.
And would I also need to bring a Mic Preamp for this?
I have a 1gig laptop which hopefully will do for recording.
