I myself have had this issue. Until recently, I've had issues with my china stabbing into the mix whenever I hit it in a recording. As compared to my other cymbals which sound as usual. But I've also started to record a little bit hotter than I used to, I've got the gain knob for the OH's at about a lil more than 1/4. More like 35% or 40%, as compared to when I used to record at 15% or 25%. I'll have to experiment. As for the snare bleeding, I try and let the snare mic capture most of the snare "crack" by cutting most of the mids on both the overheads while putting a high pass or low pass on either to eliminate phasing.
But for me, as long as the snare is audible and (depending on the song), if it more or less, hovers over the entire mix.
