this may be a silly question but im buying a focusrite saffire LE, and with it comes,albeton live lite, but I wanna know whats the best way to record drums without a real kit.
I have a drum machine with a midi port and i know i can use this but would like to know could i record drums in the software, and if so how? also,would i need a midi keyboard to do this?
or could i just programme the beats using the mouse? and would i have to pay extra for a plug in to do this?
