Hi, forgive me for asking such a dumb but simple question. I have been using my VF160 as a standalone for a while but am now about to attempt to save some tracks as individual .wav files on a CD-R so I can load them onto a friend's computer and mix them.
In the manual it says "Make sure that the DOS formatted disc with Fat16 is set."
How do I do this? It's odd because reading through the instructions I understand all the steps in the process except the first one!
My own computer is terribly lame, it doesn't even have a CD burner, just a CD-R drive, that's why I'm using a friend's computer to mix on. Do I need to give him some blank CD-RW discs and ask him to format them with FAT16 for me? Is a blank CD-RW off the spindle going to work, the same way it does for recording music, or do I need to do something to format it?
Thanks
