Recieve money through Paypal, and send through UPS. Make sure you package very well through UPS as they have strict standards for paying up on insurance. Paypal offers help to get money back if you get stiffed, and so does Ebay, so you are fairly safe. Money order is fine but no gaurantees. Paypal does take some money out for thier services, but if you get the Paypal Visa you get half of that money back when you use the card, so just leave it in and use it like a bank account, it works great for me. You have the same chargeback rights on paypal as you do with any credit card transaction, so your covered. I have used paypal for years, and zero problems. Many people 0n ebay will not do business with you if you dont have a paypal account, myself included. Money orders and such are just too much hassle, and can be forged.

I've been using pay-pal for over a year now and I havent had any problems.In fact,it is the fastest and safest way to shop on e-bay.

Paypal is completely safe. However, since you admit you have no idea how to ship the item, get them to send a cashiers check or Money Order. Paypal charges a fee and while you wait for the $$ you can find a way to package the item.
I would suggest 1" bubble wrap around the item ( a couple layers) and surround it in packing peanuts (tightly!)
The box will be a little larger, and the packing stuff may cost a couple bucks, but in the end the item will get there in one piece!
I have been burned by people who packed for crap (crumpled newspaper) and I received damaged merchandise. Getting justice is a headache! And the person who bought the keys deserves it in decent shape. I always added a dollar or 2 to these kind of items when I shipped them, and don't forget to insure the item.

I assume this is an electronic keyboard? Something heavy and fragile like a Rhodes piano doesn't have a high likelihood of surviving UPS, but something modern with minimal mechanical, moving parts will probably be fine if you follow the tips in the above posts. good luck!

What happens when paypal freezes your paypal account with $2,000 in it because someone sent you fraudulant money??? THen tell you to call and fax proof then after do that not return ur phone calls, if you want I can give you my lawyers # and he'll tell u how safe paypal is. THEY ARE NOT A BANK BUT THEY HAVE ACCESS TO BOTH YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO AND YOUR BANK INFO

EVerybody who you buy something from has access to your credit card info. Every time you buy gas with a card...Every time you buy something online...
Ever do direct bill pay? whoever your paying has access to your bank account. If you are really paranoid, like a friend of mine, just go down to the bank and open an account just for paypal. But I dont thing its neccessary...Ive used paypal probably a hundred times or more, and never a problem. So have millions of others.
Shit does happen, but not often...Not often enough to worry about. Sorry you had a bad experiance, but generally when they freeze an account, they have a reason...
