Hi all, total noob here lol
Im just starting out... sort of

ok I got a Yamaha ES8, an old DX7 2d a bunch of Guitars plus a kick ass computer with cubase sx3 and a Creative Auigy2 zs and a pair of Beyerdynamic DT 880 head phones. ok thats my set up at the moment.
Good stuff mixed with naff stuff is how i put it.
Time for me to get a bit more sereous.

My head phones seem fine, very clear sound.

I just got a set of Spirit Absalute 2's.
I know they are not great but they were very cheep and have to be better then my computer speakers or my massive Pioneer 100watt that i have had since the 80's lol.

I need an amp for these for the Absalute 2's, they are 100 watt but what size amp should i get and what make for a clean sound?
Also should i run at 4 ohms or 8 ohms?
Considering the speakers are not top of the line, would there be any point getting a really good amp over something cheep like an Alesis ra150?

I just really want to be able to play my stuff on other people systems without it sounding all bassy or tinny or just plane wrong.

Any help would be great!
Im straining my brain over this lol
Thanks

(A little bit of trivia about my old DX7 i just remembered lol
It once went on tour with The Eurithmics! before i owned it though  )
