Shure SM57

For vocals, which would you choose.

The AKG was not a choice, Im asking for one of those 3.

I know. But it's the closest I have to an SM57.

How long has Illinois coveted South Carolina?

depends of the signer, but...

I'm pretty sure I'll end up with the C1. I have one, and I have good results with male vocals.

I'd probably use the MD if I was recording a rocker or a rapper . . . the 57 if I had a screamer . . . and the C1 if I had a crooner.

I would choose and use all 3...then figure which sounds best. And while it might come as a major surprise - I would then choose the one that...sounds the best

I agree. I'd probably think about an AT3035 instead of the C1. Still, nothing wrong with the C1 on the right voice. The AT3035 would give you more options with female voices.

I'll trade all 3 of those mics for an NTK and the box that Carol is showing on the display floor! :D
