Tim (Beck) mentioned this previously, 'bout Quantegy raising prices on tape, especially their 456 but it bears repeating here.
For a company which is going down the toilet, they sure want to make a killing on their last batches of tape. First they have a fire sale, trying to create panic in the tape community, without substance and then raise prices!
