putting together clips

let's say i have a pretty difficult vocal line. so what i did was go and record it like 15 times, and i can take different parts of it and arrange the best ones together. the problem is after i did one i pressed 'delete' instead of putting it somewhere, but the count keeps going up. right now i'm on "Record 15". is there any way i can resurrect record 1-14? then i would be able to arrange parts together. thanks.

If you are in Sonar you may be able to get to the prior versions if you have not overwritten the autosave version of your tracks. Select File, Open and look for the autosave version of your project. This would be the quickest and easiest way to get them back.

If you are using the per-folder method of saving your data, check the 'audio' folder.. I think previous versions are stored there until you clean the audio folder... other wise, they may be in the 'audio data' folder in the Cakewalk Projects folder.
