Putting Acapellas in place

Hey all,i just got Cool Edit Pro 2,and i wanna know how to i multitrack like,for my song i have 4 acapellas and a instrumental,i wanna time them perfect so they all start on cue so it seems seemless,plus what are the settings or effects to make the vocals more clear/Louder.

the only thing I can tell you on the timing thing is you got to be good at timing, and thats not a hard thing. If you do the multitrack session, might be easy, but if you are mix pasting, just zoom, determin where you want to insert the track and listen to see if its where you want it. If not, just udo and move it. For the clear louder thing, in the Effects, go to amplify, and Dynamic Prosessor, but choose wisely. Also a tip, if you reply an echo or a reverb, dont over do it. Too many times, you "Home" recording, people over do the reverb/echo and its lousy. Plus in a line or to here and there, you can apply the chorus effect. Like in Mario - Let Me Love You the line go "Let me be the ONE TWO show you....." and just the one two was chorused, really nice. Hope that helps
