I ain't braggin for ATX...I am a yankee from Philadelphia.

Having said that I wouldn't be too cool in the eye of Satan's butthole...
I bet it is humid as well as hot there, not the best place for a venue...

The eye of satan's butthole has the exact same weather as austin.

Greg...I had to visit your sites...now I understand you...
I am a big fan of Turbonegro and most your other influences...
also
I dig your great recordings...got any OG's?(originals)

but this thread was about drumkits...where is your kit?

Thanks. The links in my sig will take you to to my all-original material albums as well as Reverbnation and Soundcloud which are buttload full of originals

My kit is the first post of this thread.

I had some shitty drums over the years then lost them in a flood in 2008 and never replaced them. I instead got guitar stuff. I found these on Craigslist last week for a steal. Pearl Masters Studio and B8 cymbals, Tama snare(not sure of model) and all hardware for $600. I will upgrade the cymbals slowly and hopefully can find a matching larger tom at some point as now the largest is only 14". Pretty happy with them so far, except the cymbals leave a lot to be desired.

I like the masters stuff. What are the shells made out of you know?

I love this kit. I used to have an older 1970's pearl kit but i was dying for a change and went with this beauty.drums.webp

FERRARI DRUMS by Remo

I just picked these up...made in the 80s? by Remo...some kind of acrylic drum shells

They look kinda Miami Vice...eh?
but they resonate really well anyway and they don't look like they've been used as target practice.

Tama Star Classic. The cymbal in the middle is a 16 inch Paiste medium crash. Love that thing.

I recently purchased a roc n soc. Such a comfortable throne.

I sprang for the back rest as well. Easy enough to take off if someone doesn't want to use it.

I really need to clean it, but there it is.

22" bass, 13" rack tom and 16" floor tom. 14" X 5" Acrolite Snare. I'm always on the lookout for an 18" floor tom to add on to it, but I can only come across one when I don't have the money. Zildjain A customs with a Ping Ride.

I love my roc n soc. Only problem is that I have to keep stealing it back from my wife, who likes to use it as an office chair, lol.

New cymbals today, an early Christmas gift to myself.

-15" Light Hats
-19" Dark Thin Crash

Not amazing but they more than get the job done. Waiting to buy a new PA Meinl Cymbal set. Just got the two splash cymbals. 20131229_193554.webp20131229_193621.webp20131229_193730.webp
