Okay...didn't get alot done this weekend. I was working on my damn car most of the weekend instead.....trashed ball joint. (which I never got separated despite hours of pounding on it like a fucking schizophrenic ogre on crack)

But I did take the time to pop in a couple more parts and massage the drum patterns a bit to make them fit the riffs instead of sounding generic. When the song gets closer to complete I'll work on the drum programming ALOT more to get it sounding more realistic and all that good stuff.
Anyways....Instead of trying to line up your riffs, I decided to just pick them out and replay them. Purge, I played one of your riffs but I don't think I played it quite right...Bloodsoaked, I transposed one of your riffs down a whole step to C and chopped it up in the middle. You guys can replay them when the drum programming gets finished.

I'm not sure this flows that great...I was in a hurry to get something accomplished...I'll probably put some more parts in there for transitions. I need more blast beat riffs! I need some crazy ideas for transitions, lead break rhythms, and whatever else you guys want in there.

God damn the high hat is loud on this shit and somebody standing to the left of the drummer seems to be playing it... :rolleyes: . That's what I get for being in a hurry and not really listening to it...sorry if it's annoying as hell.

Aaaahhhhhhh...YESSSSS!!!!! Exactly how I thought that riff after your intro would sound with the drums. Nice work, and "Satan's Crotch Gnats" is a great name for a band. (Feel free to change Minimum Rage to something more gory and horrible if anybody likes!)

Been too busy myself this weekend, but I've been thinking about this one. There's always the option of doing the typical (since you're in C) C to F# slow doom progression with the gothic black metal choir in the background, (Any keyboard parts, if we need them, I can play in Reason) which might make a decent verse or bridge. Also, mh28...when you get time, feel free to throw me a couple asinine speed drum loops (triplets, quads, pentagrams, whatever) and I can see about some of those backbreaking, nun-stabbing, devil-blowing riffs, although I think we both know that you can play those better than I can. :D

For the meantime, that's a hell of a framework to get started on, and more people are offering up riff ideas. Should I start concentrating on leads/flourishes/bloody ovary scabs over some of this, or does anybody want more riffy horrible evil?

I've got a few riff ideas, but can't play that fast cleanly. I'll try and record something, and someone else can play it faster if it's worthwhile.
