One thing. They say in the rules you must write something about your mix in this forum. Not nearly 800 have Done that so are they disqualified?

When do we find out the results? I uploaded to the cloud as well as my soundcloud which is just my name (stevemalmo). I guess I can't link because I'm still a forum noob...
I mixed in Logic 9 with both native and UAD plugs. Tried to play up the electronic element of the production except for the vocals which I felt were purposefully recorded so they did not need much processing -- simple panning and "gluing" with compression/reverb (Fairchild, LA-2A parallel compression). Because the mix featured many different synths, drum sounds, guitars, etc. I used Logic's Delay Designer to create a sense of depth and cohesion between these supporting elements (which I panned to the sides). Light Reverb was applied to the vocal stacks as a send to an AUX with the Lexicon 224 plug placed on it. I got a kick out of the "only a dog could hear FX" which I pitched down and destroyed with a "slow down" fade out. I really enjoyed working on a NY style production and the way that it was arranged inspired me to be more "organized but creative" with my own productions. Overall, I enjoyed the contest and I'm looking forward to hearing the winner's -- until then I'll be "Howlin'" AawoooOOooo
Hey Guys -- great job to all!!! I had a lot of fun mixing this song. Amber has a great voice. I posted my mix, but I can't figure out how to post it here. How do you guys do that???
I have not figured out how to make the player here
Did anybody notice the small mistake that Amber made on the Vox Adlib track? At about 3:54 into the song, she says "howlin at the thing light". I thought that was funny. It didn't matter at all in the context of the song. I've never had the pleasure of mixing such great vocal tracks -- and so many of them!!! No doubling plug-ins needed!!!!

I heard ben's mix (mastered version), my thought is mastered version is too much compression, and the vocals is too far even its clear to be heard, to much reverb. The tracks recorded really good, i think it pre processed, So what i've done :
1. load intro project
2. balance with fader and panning
3. brighten up a bit on stereo bus
4. done..
No reverb, delay,EQ even compression on the tracks (i'll post the track later on this forum)
i late to know this contest so i dont have much time because im on work, see u guys. Sorry for my english, regard from Indonesia..
