Sure. Here are the sections I'm talking about. The rest sounds good to me. The BGVs during the "my nightmare is a waking dream" part sound excellent btw.

:41 -> :43
:46 -> :48
1:32 -> 1:34
1:37 -> 1:39
2:22 -> 2:24
2:27 -> 2:29

For me, it's just that one part that sounds really off, but it does each time it happens. That one section always sounded that way to me thought, even on the first version I ever heard.

I do think you're kind of going through a tracking/mixing breakthrough just over the course of these last few threads though. It's cool to witness that. Usually, people just kind of go away and come back later sounding better, and you're not really sure what happened. Here, I'm kind of getting to hear and read about it as it happens which is cool.

Woah! I am late to this party.

I listened to mix 4. I did hear some off-pitch woahs starting around 2:15, but I vote to leave them that way. That's a good, sloppy punk take on poppy woahs.

Also, I've used the word "woah" 3 times (4 now) in this post, and probably need to calm down.

yeah its as I suspected, that part of the song is giving me a lot of trouble - for one it's kind of at the top of my range and for two I don't think I even know what freaking notes I am supposed to be singing there :mad: I need to work out the scales or something on a keyboard...

Yeah the mixes are sounding way better - the new amp helped big time, and tweaking my bass amp. Getting a good source recording that you don't have to "fix in the mix" is really the main thing that has helped me recently

@VHS - thanks for checking in out the tune and Woah! :)
