Suck 'em and see!
title says it all. We're in rehersals jamming new material from our forthcoming album but all we do is get shit faced and hit record. We liked the energy of this although we were equaly as drunk when we mixed it down. Got a bit carried away with our new lexicon native reverb plugs as I'm sure you'll notice. Just wanted to post something up here with a bit of energy. Plenty mistakes, bad timing and pitch vocals throught but we promise to stay sober when it comes time to do the album.

Some racket for 3 of us, one take, no overdubs. Equipment is in the signature.

(where we) used to play

Bash away ;)

I loves it. The vocals are wide to my ears and i like that. maybe a tad louder. bring em back a notch.

Guitars and bass are awesome....

Vocals are Very Clashy joel Strummerish. Big fan of that. So all your pitch issues work given that you were trying to work that clash angle. IMHO

I liked the vocal thing at 2:54 the lo fi drop out or whatever it was. it was great. Maybe consider dropping all instrumentaion out of that spot to really accent that effect?

Drunk or not its fantastic.

I love the tune.

I'm a little dissappointed. I was hoping for hilariously, bad. :D

For a one-take thing, this is really solid.

you're all nuts, the bass was the first thing I replaced. Added another guitar too but not got the space to host it. Might have to write over the original upload.

Thanks for the comments though, still think the awesome bass one is sarcasm.

changed the file, Atom, we tried that dropping everything out, it's in this new upoload (on the same link) don't think it works though. Maybe have been better if the guitar track was deliberately dropping out but cutting it and bringing it back in doesn't seem quite right.

Anyway, this has been quite inspirational for the rest of the band. They know I think they're a bunch of drunks now and want to get some sober sessions worked on.

Maybe the bass has lost some top end grunt now?

I should add that the vocals were done with the spare superlux PRA228A tom mic through a line 6 toneport into a line in channel on my N12 with drum bleed all over them

if anyone would like to add some lead guitar to this I'd be very interested to hear what you can come up with at the ahah part at 20 seconds for the 4 bars and again for 8 bars at 1:58

I like this, kind of a pub rock vibe. The vocals are cool.

I think I'd like it even more after 6 pints of lager

I like it...dig the vocals....think the bass sounds great as well...cool.
