Hi all , been awhile since i've posted anything.
Anyway i finally got my band demo out ,it'll soon be on mp3.com
so look out for it.

So i finally learnt about the function "punch-in" .... yes go ahead.. laugh.

somehow my punch-in recording has this latency where it records slower than the speed i should have started recording. In other words , the punch in recording didnt start immediantly when it hit the highlighted part. Is there any settings i can adjust in the settings to fix this matter ? Please go step by step with me.. i'm still green :)

One more question , i found a rather helpful site which taught me alot about using plugins . http://capheine0.tripod.com/ . It is where i found out that there is such plugins like Antares Mic Modeler. It works like a charm for me! Since there's mic modelers , i was wondering if there's any AMp Modeler plugin for guitars? correct me honestly if i'm just being dumb. Also if there's any sites with tutorials and tips that teach about cleaning and polishing guitar audio's , please let me know.

Thank u :)

Punching in is fine, but it's better to record your punch-ins on a seperate layer. You have more flexibility in mixing the punch-in with the previous layer.

Let's say you record vocals on track 5, for example, and you wanna punch in a part.

1) Cut the part in track 5 you want to punch over.
2) Record the vocals on track 6
3) Take the part from track 6 and mix it in with track 5, until it sounds smooth.
