PT10 - Sound through PC speakers

Noob here.

Just picked up mbox and PT10.

Have everything setup but ran into a problem

I cannot figure out how to use my PC's speakers for the sound out put after a recording.

I have my mbox plugged in via USB.

I have my speakers plugged into my computer via optic cable into my sound card.

The mbox doesn't have an optical port.
 
You need to create an aggregate device which would combine your mbox and built in sound.

The combined I/O would then be listed as if there was one piece of hardware.

I know this is natively possible on OSX, but I can't comment about any versions of windows.
 
Just for you.

Of course, for simplicity, stability and latency, you should look at getting speakers with line or spdif input so the mbox is your solo interface.
 
downloaded the driver

still won't let me select it under setup > playback engine

only shows my mbox
 
just double checked to make sure all my drivers are up to date

everything looks solid

going to attempt a re-install of protools tomorrow morning if were out of ideas lol
