ok i know this has been asked a million times, but i need to ask it anyways. i'm running pt/reason. i start a new session, create a new audio track, rewire to reason, create my session in reason. Then, i create a mixer, redrum, nnxt. now here is where the problem comes in at. i can hear what i am playing on my midi board but i can't record anything, no matter if i have it on ticks or on sample. NOW, when i do all of that with a INSTRUMENT track, it'll record the notes BUT i don't play back audio it just runs over the notes. if anyone can help me i'd appreciate it

don't you need to create an "aux input" rather than an "audio track". either that or an "instrument track", i can't remember if it's in PT that you create instrument tracks.

so if you can, create an instrument track..if you can't, then do the aux input.

instrument track in version 7 and higher.
you can use an aux track or audio track...aux tracks just always pass audio through them so you don't have to record arm them.
