You install it... ;)

Seriously... ProTools LE supports WinXP/2000, if not just pop into www.digidesign.de and download the update.

ProToolS FREE will not work on WinXP/2000...

Then, sorry. As I said, there's no chance of getting it to work... :(

and Protools LE does only work with digi001 I assume? Or can I use the LE?

Yes, I think you need Digidesign hardware to use ProTools LE, but I don't know. I use Sonar... :)

It sucks! I just bought a new pc and everything works optmal with windows/Xp but now I can't run Protools(the reason why I bought the pc in the first place!!). :'(

yes, this is why you need to research.

Even if you were buying the the MBox or Digi001 or Digi002, it always pays to RESEARCH.

Run better software. I wouldn't say ProTools is top notch... ;)

Alternatives are: Sonar (yeah, it rocks!), Cubase, N-Track, CoolEditPro 2, and if you buy the magazine called "Computer Music" you'll get a free sequenser, sampler, synth, drum sampler and a beautiful Resonant Filer effect. :)

Indeed.
You know, all these programs have their advantages and disadvantages, depends on what your used to. I learned Protools in school and I like it a lott. Also many studios use this program. It's better to know Protools then to know sound forge or something when you go knocking on a studiodoor for a job.

shhhhhhh...don't tell anyone around here that!!!!!! they won't believe you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ah, no. I believe you read it wrong.

Easy there big shooter.
