Protools/Control 24 Help

ok here is my problem about 2 years ago my brother went out
and bought a control 24 triton 88 keyboard and a g4 mac and
he has 2 I/O 888 well they had the people who they bough it
from come out and hook it up well to make they had to take the suff down because every thing was setup at some one else house and thing did not work out as had planned

well i got the system hook up but i don't know how to hook up the keyboard to the system so that i can record now when they
had it at the other dudes house he had some of his stuff hooked to the system that he took back

so i would like to know if any of you are familer with this setup
and could tell me how to hook up the keyboard

I can probably help you, but im totally confused about what you are talking about.

And it depends on how you had the keyboard hooked up before? Did you use midi or was it directly out?

If it is midi you need to hook the midi cables to the keyboard and run it to whatever midi controller you have that is hooked to the system. Does the 888 have a midi controller?

For someone who blantantly doesn't have a clue what they're doing how on earth did you afford such a high-end setup! Also, might one suggest that you re-invest some of the proceeds in night classes where you may brush up on your English grammer.


Sorry... you're catching me on a bad day here. Surely, it's rather simple, simply take the outputs of the keyboards and plug them into the line inputs of the 888s? I have no experience of such a high end system. I doubt even the pros in here will have gear that good either.
