ProTools 6.4 Adjustung Audio Track Speed

Hi,

I want to import a track from a file with a tempo of 80bpm to a file with a tempo of 90bpm. Is it possible to speed up (or slow down) an already recorded audio track in ProTools 6.4?

Nope.

You need to do the tempo conversion first in Acid, Ableton Live or some other program that offers high quality results.

Not sure when digidesign implemented ReWire, but as a workaround - and if your computer has enough horsepower - you could ReWire one of those programs to protools, set the tempo and leave the file to be temporarily tempo'ed by one of the specialist programs.
