Proto J's and Interference Question...

Hi everyone,

I've searched through the forums and read the reviews, and I'm now thinking of going with the Proto J's for my new monitors. However, I noticed that they're not shielded. My question is this: does anyone here have trouble with interference? I'll be using them within a couple feet of my computer monitor if that helps.

Also, if anyone has run into problems, what other monitors did you end up with? Thanks for any and all help!
 
I was choosing between the Proto J's and Yorkville YSMi's. I chose the Yorkvilles pretty much because of the shielding issue (plus I found a new pair on ebay for cheap). Not sure if they will cause any interferance with your monitor, but better safe than sorry is what I figured.
 
I got the Yorkville YSM1i, they are shielded and they don't interfere with my computer monitor at all. I couldn't risk spending the money on the Proto-J's when I knew they weren't sheilded... IMHO...

Dennis, how do you like those Yorkvilles? Mine are still in transit and I wasn't able to audition them first.
