Hi guys, So I'm using sonar x1 producer, My question is this, I set up a reverb buss and insert my reverb. I then go to my track I want to send to the reverb and send it to the reverb buss. I then adjust the send level to the amount I want it and then thats it. Oh I also then go back to the reverb bus and eq the buss. The buss level is at unity gain. I'm wondering that when I send the track to the reverb should I leave the send level all the way up and adjust the amount of reverb by adjusting the reverb buss fader?

I usually start with the channel I think will have the most reverb and set that send to unity, then adjust the bus fader for the amount of reverb I want in the mix, then bring up the other channel sends.

Be sure to set the "mix" control in the reverb to 100% effect.

I leave the reverb buss at 0DB and adjust the send levels of the individual tracks according to how wet/dry I want them. And I set the reverb plugin on the buss to supply a 100% wet signal.

I think this works just as well in most cases. My way is a result of old analog habits for minimizing noise. With emulating plugins it might be best to do what I do, but I'm not sure it matters with reverbs.

Thanks for clearing that up guys, I do exactly what TrpleM does...
