Propellerhead's New Record DAW

Was just wondering if anybody has been apart of the beta testing for "Record"? I had a chance to play around it but nothing more. It look like its going to be a great DAW. Seeing what others may think.

I beta tested it since July and am hooked. Pre-ordered it.

The workflow is smooth and it sounds great.
Since I never used a PC to record, I have no plug in issues but the mixer seems pretty well tricked out.

It's going to sell well to Reason users I think, other people already on PT Sonar etc probably will not move.

Just preordered it. I watched all of the online tutorials. It looks very user friendly and I already use reason which is nice too.

I just heard some retailers are shipping early so I wrote my guy at Sweetwater and asked him not to wait if they’ve received the boxes.

As a Reason owner you’ll not want to use Reason alone anymore, especially if you have a wide screen monitor.

Reason is totally integrated into Record and has a multi wide rack that I guess would expand forever. No more skinny rack where you have to scroll for days. Now you can have devices on one side and audio gear on the other. I had just bought a wide screen monitor before the beta was announced and the sequencer is so nice now. I can see a whole 4 minute song on one screen.

But to me the mixer is the heart of this app. It is so deep. Take a look at the demo songs – some amazing things in there.

I just wish I had the cash for all the refills.
