HI,
I'm equiped with a TAsCam 122 and a NT1000 mic using Cool Edit as my software. I don't know much about recording except to plug everything in and sing in the mic. Here's a example of what I just recorded and was wondering if anyone can give me some pointers in how to recording during recording and editing voice/music/etc.
. I'm not the greatest singer so bare with me :)

Thx
Look forward to learning from u guys!

Nice job on this Oasis cover. The mix sounds good. I'd suggest bringing the vocals down a little. They are good, but they just seem a little loud (I'm listening on decent headphones). Everything else sounds fine to my ears. Sounds like you're going in the right direction. Now, go record an original tune and post it for the General Good of the listening public. :)

Hi Kevin

Thx for the feedback...I have a question let's say I want to turn up the vocal more 'treble' how would I do that in cool edit? or what's the function of 'treble'?

You may want to post this question in the Cool Edit Pro forum. I'm not familiar with that program. I use Pro Tools. Or perhaps, if you're asking about basic concepts such as "treble," you may want to post the question in the Newbie forum.

Keep up the good work.

Kevin
