I recently downloaded the pro tools session file for the song "new york new york" by eskimo joe. It was a remix comp, I didn't do much with it but the session file was interesting to look at how they used layering of certain instruments and to solo each track to really hear what they did on it. I was chatting on another site, and we came to the conclusion they did leave something out, but it was probably sub mixes of guitars or vocals.
Comp's over so they've taken them down, but i've up'd the rar archives to sharebee. I changed the settings to work with my 002, so adjust i/o depending what hardware you've got.
Also, because they were using a hd system, you can't play two or three of the tracks, hence I chose to make some outro fx inactive.

All you have to do is unrar the archive once all three parts have been downloaded to the same dir, then open session file.
Heres another one I found. Its different in that its at a very raw stage and is relatively unmixed/unprocessed.

Anyone know of any other commercial session files? I've heard that some HD installations come with demo sessions of some well known tracks?
Its really interesting to see what the pro's are doing with their mixs and arrangments.
