I am planning to buy a alesis studio pack but is the processors are good. and also are there some other studio packs, out there.

I purchased the same alesis package last year
from musiciansfriend and was slightly disappointed. the nanocompressor is about 2 steps below the 3630 (which in itself colors more than compresses) the nanoverb processor
verbs were decent but limited of which I replaced with a Behringer dsp1000pro I'm in luv with Lx20 which is easy to operate. the studio 24 is your basic bottom line mixer of which i wish the eq was tad more tweakable.
This is a decent package for the beginner, but if you ask me,
I would invest this money into going digital
via a portable daw or computer which allows more freedom and if you're computer-able a whole lot more fun! Happy Easter/Passover!
