which processor should I get in regards to recording, and does it make that big of a diffrence. Keep in mind I'm ballin on a budget

Thats a big stinker round these parts !
AMD are cheaper and do just as well as a pentium so some say.
Although I have always used pentiums. Stay behind the latest chip release to save money. 1/2 a gig doesn't mean much.

In my humble view, either AMD Athlon or Intel P4 can work fine.
