Hey, I'm about to finish my second recording. My style is kind of rock...kin of between Creed, lifehouse and a bit of McCartney.

Imagine how their voices sound on their recordings. Well I'm trying to get that sound, although I know I will be needing expensive pre amps and stuff.

But the sound of the voices I have already recorded is good, however it should have a bit of processig (like reverbs or delays, I don't really know).

I have heard Ozzy, on his last album, the voices are pretty good on it, I think it has like a far delay (stereo) but I can't get to obtain it...

Suggestions will be apreciated....Thanksssss

Yo Nico:

You can learn a lot by putting reverb in the cans as you record; however, don't record the reverb on the track; you can always add it later.

There aren't too many vocals out there that don't use reverb in some way -- most of my singers want it in their cans when recording; gives their voices more "importance." But, I always put in reverb on mixdown and listen and listen and listen for at least two martinis to try and get a "good" sound.

Green Hornet:D :p

I wish I could just push up the faders like the Bear does and get great sounds.:D
