I've been trying to customize tempo to recorded guitar/vocals with fit improvisation but have had the following problem:
I'll first record the guitar with or without vocals naturally to my own timing. I then arm a midi track with a percussive patch(hi hat) and record myself tapping out fourth's in time to my audio recording. The big problem is that when I go to Process-Fit Improvisation, it shifts/compresses/stretches my initial audio recording and I can't tell exactly how or how to reverse it.
I'd like the tempo map to only affect loops or midi tracks that I later add, but to not morph my original audio or any add'l audio recordings.
Any suggestions?
